Job Description
Our client is a rapidly growing hotel management company looking for an ambitious Data Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis, based in their offices 4-5 days per week.
This job would suit a graduate from a recognised hotel or business school with a minimum of 2/3 years of working experience in a hotel or hospitality industry.

The successful individual will possess strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills, and it is vital that candidates are self-starters with extremely strong self-motivation and desire to learn and grow quickly. Previous working experience / internship within a hotel or hospitality industry is a requirement for this role. Candidates should be competent in reading hotel financial data, conducting in-depth research, preparing financial models and writing reports. Additionally, strong verbal and written skills, with fluency in English and a second language is preferred (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian). High proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point is essential for this role.
Duties will include:
* Carrying out and presenting well structured, in-depth market research.
* Assisting in preparing financial models, including investment analysis and Profit and Loss models.
* Assisting in preparing revenue management analysis and trend analysis.
* Supporting the commercial team to establish an optimal mix, reviewing forecasts, identifying strategies for different demand periods, and reviewing pricing strategies.
* Supporting in presenting detailed, yet concise written reports.
* Formatting all deliverables, in both MS Word and Excel, to the highest standard.
* Creating engaging and informative Power Point presentations.
* Assisting in carrying out due diligence work.
* Assisting in analysing hotel performance and advising on short-term and long-term business strategies.
* Supporting the team in the monthly financial and operational reporting within the scope of the asset management and hotel management projects.
* Assisting the team in collaborating with relevant parties to drive improvements in key industry indicators, such as occupancies and average rates.
* Working closely with the Operations Manager and the Area Vice President – Europe, presenting operational strategies and results to ownership and key stakeholders.
* Challenging the operational activities of the hotels in order to drive revenues, maximise efficiency and encourage cost management.
* Working with the above-property teams and GMs to ensure profits are maximised in line with GOP and NOI targets, as well as the implementation of new projects.
