Job Description
Based near The Hague, the Netherlands, we’re pleased to be working exclusively with our international client who are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract basis as Cluster Revenue Manager. The role will be hybrid working with 2/3 days in the office.
This job would suit someone with a passion for data and 2-3 year’s previous revenue experience who will be responsible for driving revenues by predicting consumer demand, optimising inventory and pricing on the right distribution platforms, aiming to achieve the highest returns in net contribution.
This innovative hotel brand operates in key global cities across Europe, North America, and Asia, with sites in destinations like London, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, and Tokyo. They have earned recognition within the hospitality industry by offering a distinctive blend of style, convenience, and self-service, it has gained accolades for its sustainable practices and forward-thinking approach to hospitality.
The successful candidate must have 2 years of revenue management experience in a multi-hotel role, ideally in city centre locations, where quick decisions and frequent pricing changes are required. You will likely come from a branded hotel background, managing fluctuating product and service pricing, with experience in revenue management systems. Strong ability to utilise systems and tools, including proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Power BI, is essential, along with an analytical mindset to effectively analyse data and drive performance.
Duties will include:
* Responsible for managing inventory, pricing, rate types and restrictions through revenue management system
* Budgeting and forecasting (within accuracy limits) and managing the results (topline and distribution costs)
* Analyse available data and prepare useful reports on hotels and F&B and give your advice and recommendations
* Identify and pursue all areas of revenue maximisation for all revenue streams
* Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the commercial analysis and evaluations of decisions within all revenue streams
* Partner with the Hotels, Sales and Groups team to implement proactive revenue-generating strategies
* Identify key market strategies for incremental revenue through analysis
* Optimising market segmentation with a focus on direct business growth
* Partner up with local business partners/online travel agents to maximise collaborations and be first on their minds
* Prepare commercial reports for inclusion in management presentations
