Job Description
Based near The Hague, the Netherlands, we’re pleased to be working exclusively with our international client who are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join their team on a permanent and hybrid working basis as Cluster Revenue Manager.
This job would suit someone with a passion for data and 2-3 year’s previous revenue experience who will be responsible for driving revenues and optimising inventory and pricing on the right distribution platforms, aiming to achieve the highest returns in net contribution.
This innovative hotel brand operates in key global cities across Europe, North America, and Asia, with sites in destinations like London, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, and Tokyo. They have earned recognition within the hospitality industry by offering a distinctive blend of style, convenience, and self-service, it has gained accolades for its sustainable practices and forward-thinking approach to hospitality.
The successful candidate must have 2 years of revenue management experience in a multi-hotel role, ideally in city centre locations, where quick decisions and frequent pricing changes are required. You will likely come from a branded hotel background, managing fluctuating product and service pricing, with experience in revenue management systems. Strong ability to utilise systems and tools, including proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Power BI, is essential, along with an analytical mindset to effectively analyse data and drive performance.
Duties will include:
* Manage inventory, pricing, rate categories, and restrictions using the revenue management system.
* Oversee budgeting and forecasting (within accuracy limits) while managing topline results and distribution costs.
* Analyse available data and generate actionable reports on hotels, F&B, and more, providing insights and recommendations.
* Identify and pursue opportunities to maximise revenue across all streams.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of commercial analysis and evaluations for all revenue streams.
* Collaborate with Hotels, Sales, and Groups teams to implement proactive revenue-generating strategies.
* Identify key market strategies for increasing revenue through detailed analysis.
* Optimise market segmentation with a focus on driving direct business growth.
* Build strong partnerships with local businesses and online travel agents to maximise collaboration and maintain top-of-mind presence.
* Prepare commercial reports for management presentations.
