Job Description
Based in London, our leading client is looking for an Associate Area Revenue Manager to join their team on a permanent and hybrid working basis, with 3 days required in the office per week.
This job would suit an experienced as a revenue manage, ideally within the hotel industry, to be responsible for assisting in the implementation of strategies to maximise revenues and profit contribution across different departments.

The successful individual will have good knowledge and experience in pricing, forecasting and benchmarking for a portfolio of hotels. They will have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team by example. Opera, Switch, Duetto experience would also be desired, but isn’t essential.
Job responsibilities:
* Maintain a consistent selling strategy across all reservations systems ensuring maximum use of availability controls.
* Manage group blocks to ensure accuracy of business on the books.
* Proactive availability management recommending necessary strategy changes.
* Present 3 months strategy in daily Yield Meeting
* Evaluate hotel’s pricing strategy against competition for effectiveness.
* Apply Overbooking strategy in order to achieve maximum occupancy/rate results.
* Prepare revenue management forecast and suggest strategy to Revenue Manager
* Prepare weekly revenue meeting, with analysis, agenda and minutes.
* Present and recommend future strategies to Market Segment Leaders during the weekly Revenue meeting.
* Follow up on revenue management meeting action items.
* Conduct appropriate studies, make evaluative decisions and recommend courses of action to develop initiatives that would advance the interests of the Hotel.
* Participate in the annual business planning exercise.
* Remain fully conversant with the uses & applications of all systems relating to revenue management.
