Job Description
Director of Revenue
Based in Geneva, Switzerland, our luxury award-winning hotel brand are looking for a Director of Revenue to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful individual will have previous revenue management experience with the ability to communicate in both English and French both verbally and in writing. You will have strong mathematical and analytical skills whilst also being proficient in Microsoft excel. The ideal candidate will have exceptional inter-personal, management and organisation skills with a genuine passion for service.
Duties will include:
* Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices.
* Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting and execute hotel daily yield strategy.
* Prepare for and lead in weekly revenue and monthly forecast meetings.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with levels of staff at the hotel.
* Assist in overseeing revenue management and distribution strategies of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations.
* Daily/Weekly/Monthly pick-up analysis and reporting.
* Analyse potential group/catering business and profitability to provide sales/catering teams with client quotations.
* Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity.
* Load and deploy negotiated/published rates and rate pricing into property management system and channel manager.
* Perform daily Reservations duties are required
* Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations department as a team.
* Assist with any other reasonable request made by management.
