Distribution Manager
Based in London, our award-winning client are looking for Distribution Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This exciting role would be most suited for a self-motivated, driven individual who possesses strong communication skills.
This role will be a function of the Revenue Management Team that will be responsible for the distribution strategy of the properties, for those already existing and for new properties that need full system implementation and configuration.
This company is within the hospitality industry with headquarters in West London, working alongside many well-known and popular brands. They are fast growing and international company with a fast-paced environment ready to recruit new and experienced candidates to help built their company.
The successful individual will have knowledge in technical distribution systems – i.e. Siteminder, GDS, OTA, PMS, HotelRez and Ideas and other various electronic interfaces. You will have lead distribution projects within a Revenue Management Team, whilst also being responsible for efficiency and maintenance of channel management systems and all related integrations. Experience with Opera is essential.
Job responsibilities
* Gatekeeper to create and maintain rate codes for all rates, packages and promotions in PMS and Channel Manager. Successful deployment of centralising rate loading.
* Establishing best practices to manage OTA, Extended stay websites, GDS, FIT agents, SRC & website supporting the distribution of each property and Cluster Revenue Manager.
* Coordinating with Revenue Team weekly on the execution of all distribution activities and implementing new initiatives to support hotels distribution strategies.
* Ensure property information is aligned on all channels such as website, OTA’s, GDS in collaboration with digital marketing team and Head of GDS in order to maintain accuracy of information available to guests.
* New openings: configuration of rooms in collaboration with Business Systems Integrations, enrol new hotels with approved OTA’s, assist in rate code set up, ensure proper content, rate description and availability of rate on all channels.
* Analytical skill a must. Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
