Graduate Analyst
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, MRK Associates are pleased to be exclusively partnering with an ambitious, award-winning leisure business in the recruitment of a Graduate Analyst on a permanent basis.
This entry level job would suit a graduate with a degree in a numerical subject, or similar, who is looking to join a forward thinking, fast-paced business who can offer an exciting learning curve in a job where you would be responsible for analysing and reporting on the performance of the company’s revenue.
This is a fast growing company with sites nationwide and plans to expand considerably over the coming years. With the most recent acquisitions and recent private equity investment, the business continues to expand rapidly and has expectations further acquisitions soon so future progression is guaranteed.
The successful individual will have a numerical bias and looking to find a job in an interesting function within a large business. This role sits in a business function called Revenue Management and it’s a dynamic, analytical business function that requires attention to detail, commercial acumen and good communication skills – think city trading in a non-financial services business.
Job responsibilities:
* Reviewing Business Intelligence reports and providing site managers with regular updates on trading performance vs budget
* Undertaking regular price reviews, taking appropriate action to ensure volume sold & margin achieved is maximised
* Assisting the Revenue Managers in the maintenance of pricing grid templates and ensuring sites and third parties are displaying correct prices
* Working closely with the marketing team to ensure promotional activity maintains revenue and margin in line with targets
* Developing an expert understanding of new Revenue Management system and identifying system improvements
