Group Director of Revenue

Our global client is looking for an experienced Director of Revenue to join the team on a permanent basis as Group Director of Revenue. This is a remote working position however you must be eligible to work in the EU as monthly travel is required.

These jobs would suit individuals with at least 5 years’ experience in a senior revenue management role where you have managed large teams and dealt with multiple stakeholders. You who will be responsible for ensuring the revenue management team is delivering exceptional service to all hotels within the company’s portfolio whilst managing multiple stakeholder relationships and working on exciting internal projects.

With a strong team and market leading systems/ processes and procedures, this business offers strong mentoring and succession planning whilst being able to develop Revenue Managers to be the best they can possibly be.

The successful individual will have multi-brand experience, ideally working with branded and unbranded properties with the ability to demonstrate up-to-date and in-depth understanding of the industry. You are someone who has the ability to problem solve and pre-empt challenges by exploring options for resolution whilst understanding the barriers. This person will be a strong leader with proven experience of managing large teams with effective ability to supervise, motivate, coach and develop teams whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines. French, Dutch or German as your primary of secondary language would be beneficial in order to communicate with European stakeholders.

Job Objectives:

* Has oversight & responsibility in the performance and analysis of revenue management efforts for all hotels in the portfolio
* Has full ownership of Revenue Management Reporting/Systems and toolkits
* Provides a stance or direction for all hotels around key industry/brand standards and is ready to challenge against the norm
* Is accountable for managing the implementation of new openings of hotels into the portfolio with integration plans and resource allocation
* Provides a strategic direction on lowering distribution costs and driving revenue via the most profitable channels
* Is an integral part of the hotel budgeting process, providing direction and processes to support all revenue components
* Has the ability to anticipate trends, well in advance of our competitors and provide initiatives to take forward into the business
* Is responsible for defining and implementing revenue management processes, competencies, measures and performance standards
* An integral part of the pre-opening or takeover of hotels which join the portfolio, supporting with resource planning and commercial strategy
