Insight Manager
Based in Plymouth our client is looking for an Insight Manager to join their revenue management team on a permanent basis. Remote working is available for this role, however travel to the Plymouth office will be required on a regular basis.
This job would suit a data driven and analytical candidate with experience managing and developing high performing teams, to be responsible for a team of 2 Commercial data analysts, with the potential to progress.
This company are an awarding winning transport provider with offices in three different locations in the south coast including Dorset and Devon.
The successful individual will be commercially minded with the ability to understand commercial activity and complex business challenges. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders (peer and senior) whilst being able to negotiate and influence. You will have a passion for delivering insight and how it can lead to differentiation in the market and therefore a strategic and competitive advantage. Excellent data visualisation skills are also essential for this role, ideally with Tableau. Due to the nature of the business, you must be able to work effectively with British, Irish, Spanish and French cultures.
Job responsibilities:
* The management, development and performance of your team
* Understanding and delivering reports, analysis & insight required by key stakeholders within the commercial team acknowledging when automated solutions are required and when one off analytics is best.
* Set up and manage “Customer Service” working methods between the insights team and the rest of the Company in order to ensure a high quality of service and a balanced delivery capacity between daily and project work.
* Sharing engaging, concise and actionable sales and customer insights to non-technical audiences to help the business better understand performance and segments and to highlight opportunities.
* Maintaining the single version of the truth across commercial reporting.
* Contributing to the development of best practice, process and knowledge sharing in analytics and insight.
