Investment Analyst
Based in the West End, London, our client, a leading property business, with plans to expand heavily over the next few years is looking for a strong analyst to join them on a permanent basis as an Investment Analyst.
This role would suit a good Excel analyst or modeller with a strong commercial bias to be responsible for supporting senior management with data analysis, market research, memos and presentations for possible property acquisitions. This will include assessing and evaluating market macroeconomic and performance data while being able to function well under heavy workload with multiple priorities.
The company is a well-established market leader that has undertaken a significant number of acquisitions over the years and has an ambitious expansion plan for further activity in the immediate future.
The successful individual will have a minimum of two years’ experience in an advisory firm, private equity house or a large corporate brand, with a positive and energetic attitude. You will be highly numerate with a degree level education with exceptional Excel modelling skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word. You will be able to apply your strong knowledge and understanding of UK markets and deliver key documents and presentations at a high-quality level.
Duties will include:
Conduct Excel analysis, market research, draft memos and presentations
Produce the board presentations for investors, bankers and any other relevant stakeholders.
Work to create standardised documents that allow for the effective evaluation of relevant KPI’s. Ensure these are produced and circulated to the team regularly.
Manage the files and databases ensuring that they remain up to date and easy to use.
Manage the agenda and actions from all internal (and external when required) meetings.
Create and maintain comprehensive research files that include data on both existing and prospective key markets.
Support the investment team on transactions when needed.
Maintain the acquisitions tracker monitoring and recording progress on live deals.
