Junior Marketing Analyst
Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our successful retail client is seeking an Analyst to join their growing Marketing team on a permanent basis.
This job would suit an individual of graduate calibre with an analytical mindset to be involved in understanding and reporting on all areas of the marketing mix, providing key insights through analysis and presentation of data to assist with key strategic business decisions.
This company is a market leader within their field having experienced significant growth over the last few years. You will be joining an accomplished team who are responsible for large scale direct mail campaigns, press advertising, TV and digital recruitment. The business is looking for an ambitious individual to interrogate the numbers who is wanting to work in an environment they can influence and see clear progression.
The successful individual should be able to show a strong aptitude for numbers and some analytical experiences either in the workplace or in their background. The role will require strong communication skills as you explain facts and information that you find from your analysis. Advanced Excel skills are imperative and ideally you will have some knowledge of Google Analytics. To fit with the culture of this business, you will also be an enthusiastic and committed team player with a good sense of humour.
Job responsibilities will include:
* Using Excel, Google Analytics and bespoke reporting tools to provide accurate, relevant insight on marketing performance both online and offline
* Taking a lead on offering and explaining clear data-driven insights to the team
* Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly marketing reports
* Supporting the marketing team with reporting requests
* General administrative marketing support
* Ad-hoc marketing project support
