Revenue Management Systems Analyst

MRK are pleased to be working with this incredibly well-known, prominent UK business with the recruitment for a Revenue Management Systems Analyst on a permanent basis. The role will be based in their office in West London.

This role would suit someone with a couple of years’ experience in a revenue analyst or pricing role who is looking to move into a technical position, where you will be able to deliver technical expertise and support the services that enable revenue management to achieve its revenue targets via the management of inventory.

The successful individual will have strong stakeholder management skills, and ability to successfully manage conflicting priorities even when under pressure. They will have proven problem solving and analytical skills to investigate complex issues, make decisions and implement solutions. The right candidate will have strong influencing and communication skills, with ability to provide input in decision making processes. You must have the ability to respond to business challenges and identify and offer solutions.

Job responsibilities:

* Process changes to the selling schedule in order to enable revenue optimisation, distribution to selling systems, and appropriate communication to customers.
* Manage inventory as appropriate, in order to maximise revenue and to minimise adverse impact on customers.
* Deliver expert level subject matter expertise to ensure maximum benefit is derived from Selling, Pricing, and Revenue Management systems, and problem management (Help Desk) support ensures adverse impact on them is minimised.
* Drive automated processes and maintain key data such as Inventory and Availability reference tables to support the profitable distribution of products.
* Manage key aspects of the Pricing, Selling and Revenue Management systems access, to ensure users have appropriate permissions and capabilities to meet business and regulatory needs.
* Test, implement, and communicate changes to Pricing, Selling and Revenue Management systems, in order that the business derives benefit from system developments as early as possible.
* Identify opportunities for the enhancement of Selling & Revenue Management systems and processes in order to maintain and continually improve the benefits and cost savings derived.
* Provides input to other stakeholders’ decisions in order to protect commercial interests and minimise adverse customer impact.
* There is an expectation that you will undertake ad-hoc work on an exceptional basis or provide relevant cover for other team tasks.
