Revenue Manager

Based in London, our client is a well-known hotel brand who are looking for a Revenue Manager to join their team.

This role would suit an individual who likes a challenge, and is passionate in everything they do. The candidate needs to have a positive attitude, good communication skills and the flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.

This role is for a single property which is part of a medium sized international hotel brand, who are market leaders with sites around the world. The business has seen dramatic growth and is renowned for staff training and development.

The successful individual needs to be self-motivated, naturally inquisitive and have a commitment to deliver a high level of customer service. The candidate should demonstrate good communication skills as they will be presenting and training new staff. They are looking for someone with previous experience within revenue management, who will be responsible for driving revenue through multiple different areas in the business.

Job Responsibilities:

* Implement controls and measures to ensure an efficient, best practice reservations process
* Assist with queries from the team as and when required
* Develops and adjusts hotel revenue strategy
* Supports the budgetary process and the yearly strategy
* Determines yearly rate table for all market segments
* Works closely with the Sales department in determining the Hotel Sales strategy
* Establishes sales forecast conditions for each segment; makes all necessary recommendations for price and room availability adjustments according to guest profile.
* In conjunction with Sales team and Management team, create special packages. Cost agreed packages and load as appropriate.
* Prepares and present monthly forecasts at weekly Revenue meeting
* Prepares and distributes all required reports for Revenue Meeting
* Determines and implements pricing strategies and circulates the recommendations
* Establishes and maintains good working relationships with internet partners
* Updates rates and restrictions throughout all distribution channels
* Achieves budgeted hotel rooms revenue through efficient and up to date strategy
* Maximise hotel revenue through managing rates and occupancy
