Based in Birmingham, our client is an exciting, busy city centre brand looking for a Revenue Manager to join their team.
This job would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years direct experience. The Revenue Manager will work alongside the hotel management to ensure they drive the commercial strategy for total revenue and profit across revenue streams as well as ensure budgets and targets are achieved.

The successful individual will have great communication skills, be both revenue and sales focused and have a strong understanding of internal and external customer needs. Good attention to detail is essential as is the ability to prioritise and multi task. The candidate should be team focused with the ability to manage a team and develop others. It is vital that the candidate is highly numerate with good written and verbal English.
Duties will include:
* Maximising all revenues to and for the hotel, including but not limited to Room and Meeting/Event revenues
* Leading cross functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including sales, Rooms, Catering & Food and Beverage departments
* Managing all aspects of competitor intelligence: pricing: management of room inventory, and/or the yield hurdle points: distribution channels, market segment mix: acceptance/denial of major group bookings
* Produce weekly 3 month rolling day by day forecasts for all areas of the business
