Revenue Manager

Based in Guildford, Surrey, our client is an exciting company looking for a Revenue Manager join their team.

This role would suit an individual who is a self-starter and be able to complete a project with little direction. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manor.

As a member of the Revenue Management team, you will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, and explore new distribution opportunities. You will create and own the implementation of a business plan and product strategy. You will have exposure to senior management and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Support, Service and Reservations. This role will deliver a range of activities aimed at profitable growth of the UK Market, within the global business.

Duties will include:

* Responsible for development and communication of a strategic business plan for each product.
* Communicate status of current business environment and strategies regarding assigned products to Sales, Marketing, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Contribution to robust product Game Plans prepared with cross functional input with management.
* Ensure UK market track on all products represents changes in booking trends and accurately reflects year on year changes to product, special events, promotional activity and pricing strategy.
* Develop tracking mechanisms to understand performance to aid future decision making.
* Provide guidance on revenue expectations to management for forecasting as requested.
* Determine and implement strategic pricing for each category.
* Track competitor activity and policies and provide consistent weekly competitor analysis.
* Ensure adequate availability on promotional fares.
* Ensure solid inventory management is demonstrated to avoid missing opportunities.
* Practices a fundamental understanding of distribution across all channels.
* Proactively participates in cross functional initiatives, developmental projects, and facilitates delivery.
* Represents the UK Market at international trading meetings as requested.
