Sales Analyst
Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, our client is a leader in their field who are looking for a Sales Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
This job would suit an experienced data analyst with a track record of coordinating data and creating reports to improve understanding and decision-making in a business. This position will be supporting the Commercial Manager and Finance Director in all aspects of margin management and profitability analysis as well as product sales performance.
This growing company is a respected brand within their market with turnover growing by 30% throughout the pandemic and growth continuing since. They are now looking to consolidate their performance by improving understanding across the business using data analytics and better understood reporting.
The successful individual will have experience producing and presenting analysis and insight to stakeholders as well as experience communicating with finance and non-finance clients and members of staff. It is essential the candidate has strong Excel knowledge with the ability to demonstrable analytical skills. Great attention to detail with the capability to multi-task is vital and the candidate should be a team player with the desire to succeed.
Duties will include:
* Continual monitoring of all aspects of product margins
* Track actual business performance to forecast with supporting commentary
* Actively participate in margin performance review meetings with the marketing team whilst taking responsibility of agreed actions
* Product sales price management
* Product cost price management
* Manage supplier price queries
* Identify opportunities with cost of products to maximise overall margin
* Periodic product range evaluation in collaboration with Ops & Marketing
* Commercial evaluation of significant stock purchase opportunities
* Identify efficiency/process improvements through the company to improve overall profitability
