Based in Central London, our client is a well-known travel business, that carries over 1Bn people a year, is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join their revenue management team on a permanent basis to work in a hybrid nature of 2-3 days in the office each week.

This job would suit someone with prior experience within a revenue/yield management environment, to be responsible for elements of the coaching and mentoring within the Revenue Analyst team whilst also driving and maximising the revenue across one of the most important routes/ regions.

The successful individual will have previous revenue management or revenue analyst experience (ideally 2+ years) and will be looking for their next job which will allow them to oversee teams, take responsibility for a clear area of revenue management and have access to all levels of people in the revenue management function. This individual should be able to manage and manipulate large data sets and sources, with all-round strong IT/Microsoft Office suite/technical skills. They will be able to produce insightful and rigorous analysis in a variety of commercial situations and utilise numerous data sources to highlight useful trends and provide robust conclusions. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential as this job will help to develop more junior analysts, present findings to Commercial Revenue Managers and discuss thoughts and projects with senior management and the Revenue Director.

Job responsibilities:

* Ensure the senior revenue analyst team delivers and exceeds the route revenue target through the development and management of the route strategies and analysis of data.
* Driving the revenue across the routes by managing a junior revenue analyst ad owning a portfolio to ensure the business maximises the revenue and returns from each journey.
* Develop a high performing team by giving clear direction and focus through coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of the wider team with specific performance management responsibilities for a team of one.
* Owning the business-as-usual relationship with the revenue management system supplier to enhance the tools used by the analysts, or to lead and manage another project based on the company requirements.
* Drive actionable insights on the route by utilising revenue management tools to optimise the revenue and yield management strategies with clear onward communication of trends to inform wider Commercial activities.
* Comfortable with challenging the wider team to enhance the delivery of our initiatives and BAU to ensure the workload is balanced and accounted for.
* Be an advocate for revenue management, by engaging our wider stakeholders, to clearly articulate current commercial strategies and respond to regional challenges.
