What we need in a nutshell
Away Resorts is a fast-growing holiday company with locations across the UK. As Yield and Inventory Manager you will be helping us to achieve our ambitious revenue, margin and guest targets by ensuring our inventory records are accurate, and manage prices for the holidays we sell.

We need you to be the person who delivers delight by ensuring that our sales teams have inventory and pricing information at their fingertips, so they can help guests book their perfect holiday, and maximise yield for the business.
What you’ll be doing
Working in our central support office and as part of our highly engaged team of holiday heroes, your key responsibilities will include:
Complete regular price review, consider competitor information, booking pace, occupancy levels to propose and implement appropriate actions to ensure volume sold, AWR & margin achieved is in line with budget requirements
Maintenance of pricing grid templates to ensure inventory is up to date and accurate
Develop methodology to identify optimum fleet mix to drive margin
Work closely with marketing to ensure all promotional activity is in line with performance requirements
Take responsibility for the channel management tool, to ensure optimised availability is given to 3rd parties
Manage 3rd party suppliers to maximise yield
Ensure budgeted channel mix is adhered to
Develop reports to provide greater insight into revenue and margin growth opportunities
Undertake regular updates to park GEMs, to ensure engagement with pricing strategy, share performance and determine actions for success
Present performance, opportunities and risks in weekly trading meeting.
Work with Head of Y&I and Finance on yearly budget process, feeding in detailed historical analysis to ensure accurate and realistic budget is achieved
Be involved in monthly forecasting process to ensure a high level of accuracy and that all margin opportunities are being taken
Work with Head of Y&I on developing the future of pricing capabily in Away Resorts
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
If you have the following, let’s hear from you:
Degree or equivalent qualification in a numeric subject
Advanced level Excel and experience with MS Office applications in general
Experience working with reservation systems or a similar internal system – and able to demonstrate the ability to work accurately
Commercial acumen and numerical aptitude
Structured and logical reasoning powers
Clear and confident communication and presentation skills
